Notice that it says "he ascended." This means that Christ first came
down to the lowly world in which we live. 10 The
same one who came down is the one who ascended higher than all the heavens, so that his rule might fill the entire universe. |

In that day, This shall be said to Jerusalem: Have no fear O Zion; Let not
your hand droop! 17 Your
God the LORD is in your midst, a warrior who brings
triumph. He
will rejoice over you and be glad, he will shout over you and be glad, he
will shout over you with jubilation. He will soothe with his love.

For the Lord will remove his hand of judgment and will disperse the armies
of your enemy.
And the Lord
himself, King of Israel, will live among you!
At last your troubles
will be over, and you will fear disaster no more.

On that day the announcement to Jerusalem will be, "Cheer up, Zion!

Lord your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty savior.
He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love he will calm
all of your fears. He will exult over you by singing a happy song."

those who rebelled against you.

each day from generation to generation. Offer them in the
