Corinthians 6:16
(NLT) |
11
I will establish My abode in your midst, and I will not spurn you. 12
I
will be ever present in your midst: I
will be your God and you shall be my people.
|
11
I will live among you
and I will not despise you. 12
I
will walk among you; I
will be your God, and you will be my people
|
16 And what union can
there be between God's temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living
God. As God said: "I will live
in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my
people".

21:3
(NLT) |
14 Shout for joy, Fair
Zion! For lo I come; and I will
dwell in your midst-- declares the Lord 15 In that day many
nations will attach themselves to the Lord and become His people, and
He
will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that I was sent to you
by the Lord of Host.
|
10
The LORD says, Shout and rejoice ,O Jerusalem for
I
am coming to live among you. 11 Many nations will will join
themselves to the LORD on that day, and they too, will be my people. I
will live among you, and you
will know that LORD Almighty sent me to you.
|
3 I heard a
loud shout from the throne, saying, "Look, the home of God is now
among his people! He will live
with
them, and they will be his people,
God
himself will be with them. |

2:13
(NLT) |
Ephesians 4:8-10
(NLT) |
17
Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD!For He is roused from His holy habitation. |
13
Be silent before the LORD, all humanity,
for
He is springing into action from His holy dwelling |
8 That is why
the scriptures say "When he ascended to the heights, he led a crowd
of captives and gave gifts to his people."
9
Notice that it says "he ascended." This means that Christ first came
down to the lowly world in which we live. 10 The
same one who came down is the one who ascended higher than all the heavens, so that his rule might fill the entire universe. |

1:68

15
The LORD has annulled the judgment against you, He has swept away your
foes. Israel's sovereign the LORD
is within you; You need fear misfortune no more.
16
In that day, This shall be said to Jerusalem: Have no fear O Zion; Let not
your hand droop! 17 Your
God the LORD is in your midst, a warrior who brings
triumph. He
will rejoice over you and be glad, he will shout over you and be glad, he
will shout over you with jubilation. He will soothe with his love.
|
15
For the Lord will remove his hand of judgment and will disperse the armies
of your enemy.
And the Lord
himself, King of Israel, will live among you!
At last your troubles
will be over, and you will fear disaster no more.
16
On that day the announcement to Jerusalem will be, "Cheer up, Zion!
Don't be afraid! 17 For the
Lord your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty savior.
He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love he will calm
all of your fears. He will exult over you by singing a happy song."
|
68
"Praise the Lord, the God of Israel,
because
He has visited his people and redeemed them. He has sent us a
mighty savior from the royal line of his servant David, just as he
promised through the holy prophets long ago.

(NLT) |
John 3:31 3:34-36
(NKJV) |
17 why so
hostile, O jagged mountains, toward the mountain God desired as His
dwelling? The Lord shall abide
there forever. 18 God's chariots are myriads, thousands upon
thousands; the Lord is among them
as in Sinai in holiness. |
17
Surrounded by unnumbered thousands of chariots, the Lord came from Mount
Sinai into his sanctuary. 18 When you ascended to the heights, you
led a crowd of captives. You received gifts from the people, even from
those who rebelled against you.
Now
the Lord God will live among us here. |
31
"He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and
speaks of the earth.
He who comes from heaven is above
all.
34 "For whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not
give the the Spirit by measure. 35 "The Father loves the Son, and has
given all things into His hand." 36 " He who believes in the Son has
everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life,
but the wrath of God abides on Him." |

(Tanakh) |
Isaiah 12:6 |
Romans 1:3 |
6
Oh, shout for joy, You who dwell in
Zion!
For great in your
midst, is the Holy One of Israel." |
6 Let all people of Israel shout
his praise with joy! For
great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you. |
It is the good news about
his Son, Jesus, who came as a man,
born into King David's
royal family line. |
Isaiah 64:2-4
(Tanakh) |
Isaiah 64:3-5 |
1 Peter
1:18-20 |
2 When you did
wonders we dared not hope for,
You came down
and mountains quaked before You. 3 Such things had
never been heard or noted. No eye has seen [them], O God, but You,
who act for those who trust in You. |
3 When you came down long ago,
you did awesome things beyond our highest expectations, and
Oh, how the mountains
quaked! 4 For since the world began, no ear has heard,
and no eye has seen a God like you who works for those who wait for
Him! 5 You welcome those who cheerfully do good, who follows
Gods ways. |
18 For
you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you
inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom He paid was not mere
gold or silver. 19 He paid you with the lifeblood of Christ,
the sinless spotless Lamb of God.
20 God chose him for
this purpose long before the world began, but now in these final
days, he was sent to earth for all to see. And he did this for you. |
Job 19:25-26
(Tanakh) |
Job 19:25-26 |
John 1:10-14 (ESV) |
25
But I know my vindicator lives; in the end
He will testify on earth-
26 This after my skin has been peeled off, but I would behold
God while still in my flesh |
25 “But as for me, I know that
my Redeemer lives, and
He will stand upon the earth at
last. 26 And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God! |
11He came to his own, and
his own people did not receive him.
12But to all who did
receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become
children of God, 13who
were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will
of man, but of God. 14And
the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory,
glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. |
Psalm 46:5-8
(Tanakh) |
Psalm 46:4-7
(NLT) |
|
5 There
is a river whose streams gladden God's city, the holy dwelling place
of the Most High. 6 God is in its midst. it will not
be toppled; by daybreak God will come to its aid. 7 Nations rage,
kingdoms topple; at the sound of the thunder the earth dissolves. 8
The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our
haven |
4
A river brings joy to the city of our God,the
sacred home of the Most High. 5 God himself lives in
that city; it cannot be destroyed. God will protect it at the
break of day. 6 The nations are in an uproar, and kingdoms
crumble! God thunders, and the earth melts!
7
The
LORD Almighty is here among us;
the God of Israel is our fortress. |

42...throughout the generations, at the entrance of the Tent of
Meeting before the LORD. For there I will meet with you, and
there I will speak with you, 43 and there I will meet with the
Israelites, and it shall be sanctified by My Presence. 44 I
will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the alter, and I will
consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve Me as priests. 45 I
will abide among the Israelites, and I will be their God. 46
And they shall know that I the LORD am their God, who brought them
out from the land of Egypt that I might abide among them, I the LORD
their God. |
42 “These burnt offerings are to be made
each day from generation to generation. Offer them in the
Lord’s
presence at the Tabernacle entrance; there I will meet with you and
speak with you.
43 I will meet the people of Israel
there, in the place made holy by my glorious presence.
44 Yes, I will consecrate the Tabernacle
and the altar, and I will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me
as priests.
45 Then I will live among the people of
Israel and be their God,
46 and they will know that I am the
Lord
their God. I am the one who brought them out of the land of Egypt so
that I could live among them. I am the
Lord
their God.
